In fact, a portion of students enrolled at our program deliberately chose the program since they're hooked on Korean popular culture. In fact, the trend has begun to take shape about a decade ago.įor the moment, as long as K-Pop or Korean Wave, in particular, manages to cement its claws into the mainstream of popular culture in Indonesia, a bunch (not all!!!) of younger generations will surely get exposed to it.which eventually affect (their decisions) to know more about Korea (the language, culture, and Korea-related stuffs). The continuing trend of high school graduates to pursue their dreams of learning more about Korea at university level is not an unprecedented phenomenon.
